ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We believe that energy and natural resources are finite and that the environment must be protected and passed on to future generations. We therefore aim to fulfil our policy at every stage of production in line with our environmental management system.

Minimise waste, prevent pollution at its source and reduce adverse environmental impacts.
Protect the environment and promote this principle among our community, throughout the country and among our suppliers.

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY POLICY
Within the principle of equality, İmortaş undertakes to provide equal rights to its employees in recruitment and employment without discrimination based on language, race, colour, gender, philosophical belief, religion or sect. Conduct that violates this principle is not tolerated, and employees who harass another employee or a third party on these grounds are subject to disciplinary action.
İmortaş supports and respects internationally proclaimed human rights.
Employees work in jobs appropriate to their physical abilities and under the conditions prescribed by law.
As stated in the employee selection and recruitment procedure, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to work at İmortaş.
Employees must not keep any item or substance in the workplace that is dangerous to the workplace or its employees, or unlawful.
Employees must not, directly, indirectly or through third parties, give, offer or promise a bribe, benefit or facilitation payment to any individual or organisation.
Employees must not, directly, indirectly or through third parties, accept or receive a bribe, benefit or facilitation payment from any individual or organisation.
No gifts or promotional items may be accepted other than customary promotional samples.
No discount or benefit relating to goods or services that is not generally available may be accepted or applied.
Cash, gift vouchers or precious metals must not be given or accepted as gifts.
Money must not be borrowed from banks or financial institutions on terms other than those available to everyone.
ETHICS POLICY
In performing their duties, employees are guided by continuous improvement, participation, transparency, impartiality, honesty, the interests of İmortaş, accountability, predictability and trust in declarations.
Employees aim to improve service quality, increase internal and external customer satisfaction and focus on results.
Employees act in a manner worthy of the trust required by their duties and exercise due care and diligence in carrying out their work.
Employees are committed to personal and organisational development and remain open to support, suggestions and constructive criticism that increase personal effectiveness.
Employees avoid waste and extravagance in the use of all İmortaş resources; they use working time, property, resources, labour and facilities effectively, efficiently and economically.
Employees must not use or allow others to use İmortaş property and resources for purposes outside the company’s objectives and business needs. They protect these assets and take the measures necessary to keep them ready for use.
Employees must not engage in coercion, insults, threats or arbitrary conduct when performing their duties. They comply with the law and internal company rules and act in accordance with fundamental moral and human values.
Without written permission, İmortaş employees must not make statements or provide information about the company to the press or other media. Neither employees nor their immediate family members may enter into ownership or interest relationships with competitors, suppliers or customers.
İmortaş managers exercise their authority according to professional standards and corporate discipline, providing employees with the explanations they need about their work and business processes.
Managers take the necessary measures within their areas of responsibility to prevent abuse and ensure compliance with these working principles. These measures include applying legal and administrative rules, conducting the required audits and checks, providing training and information, and setting an example through personal conduct.
When employees encounter unlawful conduct, breaches of company rules or unethical behaviour, or have complaints or requests for any reason, they may raise these through the management hierarchy, up to the General Manager and Board of Directors where necessary.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
To create a safer, healthier and more productive working environment at İmortaş:
Identify and minimise occupational health and safety risks through new technologies and the effective use of resources.
Establish an occupational health and safety system to continually improve our performance and ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other mandatory requirements.
Take measures to minimise occupational health and safety risks, make working environments safe and protect employees’ health. Develop systems to minimise losses in any accident or emergency that may occur during our activities.
Assess the occupational health and safety impacts of new investments and processes at the design stage.
Organise the training required to establish, develop and sustain our occupational health and safety management system and awareness among all employees and in all areas of activity.
Improve our occupational health and safety performance in cooperation with our customers, suppliers, public authorities and other stakeholders.
Employees and new recruits receive periodic training each year to ensure that quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are understood and adopted throughout the factory.
